Noticed recently an alarming trend on Christian media, of Christians speaking in a language that can only be understood between the secretly initiated! lol. With the way some of us speak and write, the average Christian and person in the street would have to crack the code in order to understand! Note to self: “Always speak in a way so as to be understood!”

I think when we fall into these Christian phrases and Christiane’s we start developing our own little sub-culture, and lose our effectiveness in reaching our culture. If you feed on this kind of stuff, you will start picking up the language. Going out into the world using this language will cause others to think you are from a different planet.

Why are we here? Why do we use media? Is it just for ourselves? Hopefully a person that is far from God, and currently outside of the church culture can still read our thoughts and understand what we are trying to say! Just saying.
