The book of Acts otherwise known as the Acts of the Apostles, has also been called by Preachers, The Acts of the Holy Ghost. For in its pages we have the account of how the early church was birthed and energized by this same Spirit, and of His workings through ordinary people.
My desire in this study is to revisit our foundations and origins as a church. To see that though we are some 2000 years removed from the people and events of this book, yet by drinking of the same Spirit, and having been baptized in that same Spirit into one body, we are all a part of the same body as those who have gone before us.
My hope is, that as we study Acts, it will reignite our love for the Church, and for the churches mission.
